As the weather cooled and the sun set on summer we had a choice to make: shy away and hibernate till spring, or evolve and bring a fresh chapter. We chose to Evolve. While the plan is to 100% return to the patio for spring, for at least the next 3 events this fall and winter Rx will be bringing its signature daytime techno experience to Mansion Nightclub. My first season as Music Director of D6 could not have gone better. From the bumpin Fridays and Saturdays, to the scene evolving patio parties I curated, it has been a complete blast. While I only played a small part of a extremely high functioning and well oiled machine, I’m happy to have contributed to their highest grossing year on record. Thank you to all the supporters that attended our events and the wonderful staff and management that made this year unforgettable.
On Sunday May 28 came my first true test as music director of D6 Bar and Lounge. I was asked to source artists for an electronic music based day party on the d6 patio. Once a couple key partnerships where established the team seemed to assemble itself. As the final days counted down nerves were a bit high as we all had a lot riding on the success of the event. All told we had over 500 ppl through the door and I truly do not think the event could have gone any better! This event’s success has paved the way for a truly exceptional summer at D6 so stay tuned, the vibes are only going up! Special gratitude to the following people and organizations:
