Any Given Tuesday...

Tuesday night, around 8pm, My Girl and I got a text from a Mutaal friend who wanted to throw a party... that night. Normally that would have been a no-go on such short notice and on a tuesday, but circumstanes were different. You see this friend was a musician, who happened to be working with one of the baddest djs around: Maseo of De La Soul. The result: Epic basement studio party with dj Hedspin, Dj Flipout and Maseo, tagging up on classic soul, motown, funk and rnb 45s till the wee hours of the morning. still buzzin!

Opening Weekend a Huge Success!

Grand Opening weekend at Cabana was an absolute blast. Thanks to everyone who made it down, I'll be holding down the mix each and every friday, come through and checkout the newest and nicest touch of class in Vancouver's Party scene, without any of that pretentiosness that for too long we've come to expect.
